Throughout the production process in any factory, things are dropped, spilled, and dragged around on the floor. This can crack, chip away, stain, and otherwise damage your concrete floor, creating a potential safety hazard in the process. The repair costs can be pretty high, especially when you factor in that you may have to shut down the line at an inopportune time. There is a solution to protecting your factory floor before it gets damaged. Have an epoxy floor coating applied.

By having an epoxy coating applied to your factory’s floor, you’ll be creating a solid seal that will help to protect it from normal wear and tear along with mild chemical exposure. An industrial floor treated with an epoxy also is easy to clean, helps to minimize dusting, can increase the reflectiveness of your lighting, and presents a positive image for your facility that’s sure to impress your clientele. Often, we can perform the application while the factory is still in operation. You can’t beat that!

The application of the epoxy to your factory floor isn’t the most important part in our process. That honor goes to the exhaustive preparation work we put in to making sure the new coating will last as long as possible. We have invested in state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Our floor scrubbers will be able to keep the floor clean during and after the application, the shave master and diamond grinders will be able to remove existing heavy coatings, and our shot blasters will be able to help the preparation of the concrete. In order to maintain our equipment in the best possible state, we own all of our machinery.

After the floor has been prepared and the epoxy coating applied, we recommend top coating it with a urethane. Urethanes are able to retain the glossy look and color better over time, as well as provide for extra protection for chemical resistance and scratches. As with all the epoxies we use, our urethanes are from only the most well-respected brands and are very high in solids. This results in them being environmentally safe when compared to some of the less advanced epoxies and urethanes.
